![]() I've tried downgrading to older versions of transmission and that hasn't worked either. The only entry I can see for MyApp is in System Preferences -> Security & Privacy -> Privacy -> Full Disk Access which is disabled by default. Error messages like permission denied on Terminal mean that you’ve entered the command that couldn't be completed due to a problem with file access. Also, no actual data appears in the downloads or incomplete folder although adding the same torrent, it verifies the small amount of data downloaded from the beginning. Usually sudo asks you for your user password and can. ![]() My first thought was this was a tracker issue, and I needed to be registered with them. Every time I restarted them, they would pause again. actually calls sudo for running theIf you do not, youll need to ask your admin. Anyone have anything? How come this problem keeps coming up with new versions of transmission? I should note completed downloads were still uploading until I deleted them all to try and fix it. If you have an Administrator account, your sudo password is your normal password. I read a bunch of threads, repaired my disk permissions and verified them manually, but I've got nothing. 4) assign the directory to the desired dataset/ folder of this group and user (either via GUI or SSH with: chown 921:921/directory) 5) mount the dataset to the jail as storage via WebGUI. For a while torrents would only download in my "Incomplete" folder but would at least download now I'm having no luck. 2) Create group 'transmission' with ID 921. I'm running 2.76 on OSX 10.7.5 and using an external hard drive for my downloads. but it keeps happening with new versions of the program and this time I'm stumped. New torrents will not download, or rather, they will start to and immediately pause, with the error "permission denied." I've dealt with this before in previous versions of transmission by rebooting, deleting and restarting downloads, using "Move Data File to." etc. I'm going a little crazy trying to fix this problem.
