We walked around there for virtually the entire day-great day. A friend with a car drove us to Hollywood Blvd. Walk to Santa Monica Pier, Santa Monica College in the afternoon, and taxi to Westwood Village in the evening. I couldn't find the Rapid Bus Transit that was supposed to take me to Santa Monica, so I took a cab from downtown to my friend's place in Santa Monica (near Izzy's Deli. take a taxi from Long Beach airport to the Wardlow station on the Metro Blue-Line light rail.
